Port Glasgow / Bay Street /

Use the tabs below to browse each aspect of the proposed work on Bay Street.

Riverside Inverclyde and Inverclyde Council recently successfully secured funding from the Scottish Government’s Town Centre Regeneration Fund. The approved work entails upgrading of buildings, shopfront improvements, floral displays and improvements to the landscaping and signage at the entrance to Port Glasgow. Work has already started in certain areas. The contract at the A8 entrance will start in August and will last three or four months. We would like to ensure that the work is carried out with minimum disruption and that you are kept informed of the intended programmes and progress of the contracts and that we provide you with contact details of the people to speak to should you require more information. This web site shows some details the intended works and there is a link to the contractors work schedules. There is also the ability to email us at Riverside Inverclyde and we will do our best to help resolve any queries you may have. In addition we have appointed a liaison officer Eric Forbes who will visit shops and premises as work is progressing and will be happy to address your concerns.
